Factory Data Reset your Motorola Mobile Phones follow the below simple steps.

Note:

Factory Reset your device will erase all the data (Contacts / Pictures / Files / Installed Apps)

Factory Reset through Menu:

1. Touch Menu

External Hard Reset:

If your mobile phone is not even powering on and your are not able to access your Mobile phone Menu, then you can do the external factory reset.

External Reset requires 25% battery backup, So charge your mobile before performing this option.


1. Press the VOL DOWN KEY for 2-3 seconds then press POWER key and then release the keys.
    Now you will see a BOOT OPTIONS

2. Press VOL DOWN Key and select Recovery and press VOL UP Key to enter.
   This will show Motorola logo Exclamation mark

3. Now Press and hold the VOL UP key for 10-15 seconds. While still holding the VOL UP key press and release the POWER key.
   Now you will see additional Blue color menu options. 

4. Press VOL DOWN Key and select  Wipe data / factory reset and press POWER Key to perform.

5. Press VOL DOWN key again to select YES and POWER key to CONFIRM

   This will format the disk and reset the device to factory default., press the POWER key to confirm a REBOOT

By the following three simple steps, you can forward VMware ESX server logs to a remote logserver.

1. Enable SSH service on your ESXi 5 Server.

Login to your ESX server through vspher clinet Go to -> configuration -> Security Profile ->Services -> Properties (This will open a new window) -> in that Select SSH (Options)- Start ( More)























2. Enable Firewall for syslog.


In your vspher clinet ->configuration -> Security Profile -> Firewall -> Properties (This will open a new window)-> Check syslog (As shown below)


















3. Point the remote log server

 Log in to your Vmware ESXi using ssh and run the following commands.
#esxcli system syslog config get 
Default Rotation Size: 1024 
Default Rotations: 8 
Log Output: /scratch/log 
Log To Unique Subdirectory: false 
Remote Host:  
#esxcli system syslog config set --loghost='udp://ipof.remote.logserver:514' 
(you can use TCP port also )
#esxcli system syslog reload 
Thats all. Now the logs will be forwarded to your remote logserver
Now you can stop the ssh service.

While i trying to run the Agent Pre-upgrade check utility from autorun.exe, I have got the following error message

Error:

The application failed to initialize properly(0x0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.

While Enabling Fault Tolerance (FT) on virtual Machine, following error occurred.

Error:

The unused disk blocks of the virtual machine's disks have not been scrubbed on the file system.  This is needed to support features like Fault Tolerance.

Reason of Error:

Fault Tolerance cannot be enabled on a powered-on virtual machine that has thick formatted or lazy-zeroed disks.

Soultion:

To enable FT, power off the virtual machine, turn on FT, and power on the virtual machine again. This changes the disk format of the virtual machine.

Download the following software
  1. iTunes 9.x
  2. Original firmware 3.1.3 (Size 228MB)  or other - find below
  3. Download RecBoot 1.1 and extract the file in a temp folder

Recover Procedure:

Here I have described the down gradation procedure for Firmware 4.0 to 3.1.3
Step 1
 Install the downloaded iTunes on your PC (Not required if already installed) and open the application.
Step 2
   Plug in your iPhone to PC using connecting cable. Now the system will detect your phone.
   Power down the iPhone by holding the sleep/lock button and sliding to power off.
Step 3
   Put Your Phone Into DFU Mode

Procedure:

   Once it's powered down, press and hold both the sleep/lock button and the home button for ten seconds.
   After ten seconds, release the power button but continue holding down the home button.

Step 4
   Once the iphone gone to DFU mode , iTunes will pop up a window as shown below telling you that it's detected an iPhone in recovery mode and your iPhone's screen will be black.

Once the image is restore, you will get an error message as shown below(iphone could not be restored). Yon can ignore the error message and click ok

 Now go to the RecBoot folder and execute the recboot.exe. This will open up an window as shown below. Click on exit recovery mode button.
