  1. Thanks for posting this. You were able to get my network back up after setting my Android Galaxy S2 back to factory. Unfortunately, when I inputted these settings, It showed connectivity, but I was unable to load anything. I had contacted Network Support and they advised me to make these changes.

    Name: Viaero Internet
    APN: internet.vedge.com
    Proxy: Not Set
    Port: Not Set
    User Name: Not set
    Password: Not Set
    Server: Not Set
    MMS Proxy: Not Set
    MMS port: Not Set
    MCC: 310
    MNC: 450
    Authentication Type: Not Set
    APN type: default
    APN protocol: IPv4

He advised me that adding the Proxy settings disallows you from accessing the network.

    Thanks for the startup though!

  5. Viaero doesn't currently sell Windows Phone devices, but you can bring unlocked GSM devices to Viaero (T-Mobile, AT&T, international) - but not Verizon/Sprint/Boost/Virgin.

Anyone needing Windows Phone 8.1 Viaero APN settings for your Lumia, HTC 8X/One M8, use these steps!
Navigate to Settings either by swiping down from the top of the display or using the app drawer. Once you are in Settings, tap on cellular+SIM.
    Next, tap SIM settings.
Name your SIM Viaero. Leave the network selection set to automatic.
    Tap "edit internet APN"

    APN: internet.vedge.com
    User name: (leave blank)
    Password: (leave blank)
Authentication type - should be greyed out, or say PAP - leave it however it is.
    Proxy server (URL): (leave blank)
    Proxy port: (leave blank)

Tap the Save icon on the taskbar on the bottom of the screen. It looks like a floppy disk.
Back on the SIM settings page, tap on the "edit MMS APN" button.
    APN: MMS
    User name: ViaeroMMS
    Password: (leave blank)
Authentication type: PAP (or automatic if that's an option)
    WAP gateway (URL): 10.168.3.23
    WAP gateway port: 9401
    MMSC (URL): http://mms.viaero.com
MMSC port: 80 (or leave blank, the OS will fill that in usually)
Maximum MMS size: (leave blank) >I have not had any issues leaving this blank<
    IP type: IPv4v6

Now, once again, tap that Save icon on the taskbar (floppy disk) and back out of the settings. Once you save, the phone should drop its cellular connection for a short moment before connecting to the network again. Once it looks connected, wipe down from the top of the screen, and look at the top left of the screen, where the signal indicator is. It should say E, 3G, 4G, H, or H+ depending on the phone. E is for Edge, or 2G. H and 3G are just 3G/HSPA, while H+ and 4G indicate an HPDSA+ connection.
You will not see L or LTE because Viaero doesn't have LTE towers.
To double check your settings, navigate to a webpage, and then text a photo to someone to be doubly sure.

I'm a Windows Phone lover, and I've used these settings on the Samsung Ativ, HTC 8X, Lumia 520, Lumia 1020, Lumia 1520.
